Already a successful franchise in Philadelphia, Orlando and Atlantic City, Cuba Libre Restaurant and Bar is set to bring its delectable menu of traditional and updated Cuban cuisine to 9th street. According to Metrocurean who broke the news last week, Co-owners Barry Gutin and Larry Cohen are hoping for a spring opening for the 200-seat restaurant which will include a large patio.
I can’t wait to have readily available mojitos a few blocks away from my place! Cuba Libre Restaurant and Bar will be located near the U.S. Mint Building at 801 9th NW, just around the corner of 9th and H.
